Newest Little Digger

Born outside at our home.  Here's what our midwife Cathy says about it.

8:55 p.m.
8 lbs 13 oz

Still no name...

He's wonderful.  Qualities observed already include patience and perseverance.  He is adjusting to our home very quickly and seems very composed as he does it.

Summer Fun

Our Foreman building an in-ground sandbox for the boys.
Blake testing the trampoline trapezes at Park City Resort. I hear this is how kids learn to do flips on skis.  :)

Actually working together.

Blake's first face painting -- a rhino.

The cat has learned that Gavin is in charge.  Gavin is a real animal lover.
Launches with Daddy.

Flying the airplane at the resort rides.

Gavin.

More bucket filling.
Off to swim at the Kamas swim center in their matching floaty suits.

Mini golf is pretty fun.
And I look cool in these shades.

Dad and boys to swim.
Ready for that 35' slide... now!

Playing dress-up.

mama, the crane

Not feeling so much like a crane these days, mostly like a waddling duck, but life can't be stopped on account of that.  Here are some pics of pregnant me, in the last few weeks of pregnancy.  I'm looking forward to meeting our newest little digger.

Soaking in the sun at the Park City Silly Market.  Two weeks ago.

At the Park City Street Fair.  Blake has turned into a rhinoceros.

Me with Blake and his newly-discovered "shooting" finger.  Ugh...

My favorite maternity shirt.  Three blue butterflies for my three beautiful boys.

Functions

Blake can spend all day building.  Gavin's nap time is an especially valuable time for Blake as the "little Legos" can come down from their safe cabinet-top locations, and the big Legos can be used without worry that someone will mangle a newly-minted machine.

Here are some of Blake's creations:

Visit to the Aviary

For their monthly field trip, B and Steve took Blake today to the Tracy Aviary, a Salt Lake City institution that I remember visiting as a child.  Two bird shows, duck feeding, and lots of adventuring amongst feathered friends were all part of the day.

The bird show...

Blake bravely and gently approaching the birds...

Pictures that Blake took...

Fun...and a little nap on the way home...a good day.
